Independent bookstores and publishing: Collecting memories

The front cover of a large red scrapbook with gold letters and embellishments. On the cover are stickers and a news clipping.

Both Bogus’ papers and Woman in the Moon Publications’ records contain scrapbooks in which Bogus documented her life history and memories. Many feminists engaged in the practice of scrapbooking as a way to document their stories and collect ephemera from their lives.

The Woman in the Moon

Women in the Moon is a contemporary new poetry book for the now woman of today. Its one woman’s feelings about success, disappointments, love and many other conflicting emotions put to soothing poetry. It is a true collector’s item that should be a part of everybody’s home library, young and old.
